Elmwood Avenue Contaminated Soil Documents

In July, soil on Elmwood Avenue tested positive for two types of chemicals associated with dry cleaning.  The EPA has been testing soil and soil gas, the results should be back in the coming weeks. Obviously, we all hope the results come back negative and I’m working hard to get the latest information. My house is part of the possible impact zone and I understand the frustration of not knowing if we have a problem or not. The area being tested is Elmwood, Spring, Cedar, Lafountain and parts of Walnut, Intervale, St Louis, and Archibald (see map on the EPA fact sheet below).
